“What qualities do you enjoy about your own sound and your style?”
I don’t think I can be classified as one genre, you can hear the hip hop influence as well as the rock influence, and even some melodic influences as well. I enjoy being me, being unique. I don’t feel like I can be duplicated, that’s what I enjoy most; the overall authenticity of it all.

“Can you speak on how you effectively put messages into your music and how it creates a connection with the listener?
The messages really all depend on the vibe I’m feeling that day. At the end of the day I feel like everyone can relate, because we’re all human. With a huge amount of hip-hop lacking substance, I feel like making the connection is easy, I just be myself really bro, talk about what I’ve been through, heartbreak, depression, etc.

“What aspects of life outside of music inspire you as an artist?”
I don’t think I really have too many inspirations outside of the music, music really IS my life, I would say my family, I have hella baby cousins that look up to me, and that I influence, things like that. I just want everyone around me to be happy at the end of the day.

“When did you start making music and how has the process changed since then?”
I’ve been making music for about 2 years, once I started, I hit the ground running, I think I’m 8 projects in right now, and the process hasn’t really changed, only difference is I’ve linked with actual producers, no more YouTube beats, still do most of my writing late night.

“Can you explain how important music is to your life and when you realized it would become a part of you?”
I’ve always known deep down, it just took me 21 years to have the courage to pursue it, I was afraid of what people might say or think. I remember idolizing lil Wayne as a child, I remember Soulja Boy being my favorite rapper, music is just a form of expression for me, the only place I can truly be me.

“Do you put pressure on yourself to get better with every project or do you treat each one like it’s own space in time?”
I treat one like it’s own space in time for sure, I just let em fly, Russ has quote that says “fuck the score, play for the love of the game” and that’s what I do, shooters shoot type of mentality. I feel like naturally you’ll get better when it’s not your main focus.

“Do you have an overall vision of what you want to represent as an artist or are you more focused on staying true to yourself?”
Definitely staying true to myself at all cost, if it means I won’t reach certain heights because of certain politics or anything like that, so be it. I’d rather go out knowing I didn’t sell my soul. Everyone’s perception of you depends on their experience anyway. I see no purpose it trying to portray a certain image, just be genuine and good shit will follow.

“What can you say about self knowledge and the importance of believing in oneself?”
Confidence is everything, I’m still working on to be honest with you. Lotta times I go through self doubt and wanna say fuck it, believing in yourself is step one for sure bro.

“Do you surround yourself with people that motivate you or do you keep the circle tight?”
I definitely keep my circle tight. I’m very introverted. I don’t like bring around people at all, people aren’t genuine these days.

“What are some positives and negatives that you see with the age of social media?”
The positive is it’s easier to grow your brand, on the other hand anybody can do it with social media, it distracts from the music, and I think real artists struggle from that. People want everything except the music, they want you to troll l, dance etc. it kinda saturated everything.

“Looking forward, do you have anything coming up or in the works?”
A Beautiful Disaster 3 is in the works, I’ve been working really hard on that project and I wanted to release it on my birthday. I'd be turning 24 and kinda wanted to do a tribute for Kobe, but I think I’m shooting for early 2021 now. I also have an EP dropping 6/27.
